PARIS GUIDE- CLUBS, SHOPPING AND LUNCH

OKEJ, här kommer första delen av en guide till alla våra favvo-spots under parisresan. Vissa ställen har ni tipsat mig om, andra har jag hittat på bloggar, några hade krille besökt förut och vissa stötte vi bara på av ren slump. Här kommer en härlig blandning av bra shopping, fest och kaffe i PARIS!

OKAY, this is the first part of a guide to all our fave spots during the Paris trip. You guys tipped me about some places, others I found on blogs, some of them krille had visited before and some we just stumbled upon. Here comes a lovely mix of great shopping, party and coffee in Paris!

Ett av våra första turist-stopp på resan var Palais De Tokyo. Det är ett suuperhäftigt museum med modern konst. Visst tycker jag att alla gamla målningar på louvren är svinhäftiga, men helt ärligt har jag lite svårt att ta till mig klassisk konst på samma sätt. Ett tips är att åka till Palais De tokyo sent på kvällen då de har öppet till midnatt, på något sätt är i alla fall jag mer öppen och mottaglig på natten.
(Krille berättade att sist han var där hade de byggt en enorm “flod” med riktigt vatten över ett halvt våningsplan där man var tvungen att åka båt för att ta sig igenom!)

One of our first tourist stop on the trip was the Palais de Tokyo. It’s a suuper cool museum of modern art. Sure, I think all the old paintings in the Louvre are breathtaking, but quite honestly, it’s a little hard to to relate to and take in classic art like that. A tip is to go to the Palais de Tokyo late at night since they are open until midnight, somehow you’re more open and receptive at night (at least I am).
(Krille told me that the last time he was there, they had built a huge “river” with real water over half of one of the floors where you had to take a boat to get through!)

Detta hak snubblade vi över första dagen i Paris, det låg runt hörnet från vårt hotell i Bastille. Asfint hak med superbra service och billiga priser, men kanske mer ett lunchställe än middag.

We happened to stumble oupon this place the first day in Paris, it was around the corner from our hotel in Bastille. The food was super, service amazing and prices really cheap, but perhaps more of a lunch place than dinner.

Det mest ekonomiska sättet att luncha är såklart att köpa brie och baguette och chilla vid kanalen.

The most money saving way to have lunch is of course to buy brie cheese (or avocados for vegans) and baguette and chilling by the canal.

En kväll tog vår ashärliga vän Fanny med oss till Le Chat Ivre, en restaurang i Bastille med franska “tapas”/smårätter. Detta blev resans mat-höjdpunkt för min del, alltså JISSES vad gött. Älskar förresten konceptet med smårätter som man delar på, så att man får smaka lite av allt. Plus i kanten för riktigt snygg personal och bra priser, hehe.

One evening our super lovely friend Fanny took us to Le Chat Ivre, a restaurant in Bastille with French ‘tapas’ / small dishes. This was the food-highlight of the trip for me, everything was so insanely good. I love the concept of small dishes that you share, so you get to taste a little of everything. Also, a big plus for the handsome staff and good prices, hehe.

Sugen på shopping? Colette är en asnice och stor concept store med allt som är hippt- accessoarer, kläder, gadgets, böcker och inredning. Kändes lite som Paris svar på Voo store här i Berlin.

Feeling like shopping? Colette is a super nice and big concept store with everything that’s hip- accessories, clothes, gadgets, books and furniture, for example. Felt a bit like Paris response to Voo store here in Berlin.

Här hamnar vi några snäpp högre upp på prisklass-stegen, men tycker ändå att Comme Des Garcons butik är väl värt ett besök, ville i princip köpa allt från Play-kollektionen. Dessutom har de att svinfint kaffeställe utanför som ryktas servera något av Paris bästa kaffe.Har inget att invända, jag beställde en sinnessjukt god flat white.

Now we’re talking a bit more expensive pieces, but I still feel that Comme Des Garcons shop is well worth a visit, I wanted to buy basically everything from the Play collection. Moreover, they have the swine nice coffee place outside which I’ve heard serves one the best coffees in Paris. I have no objection, I ordered an insanely good flat white.

Avslutningsvis vill jag tipsa om en klubb: Concrete. Det är på en båt i kanalen, övre däck är superfint dekorerat med lyktor och har ett jättehärligt lounge-house-golv, och på nedre våningen spelas techno i betong-källar-miljö som sig bör. Hade en så himla bra kväll här. BIG like!

Finally, I want to recommend a club: Concrete. It’s on a boat in the canal, the upper deck is super nicely decorated with lanterns and has a really lovely lounge-house floor, and on the lower floor techno was playing in a concrete basement environment. I had a really really good night here. BIG LIKE!
