Mixade snapshots från Bali som aldrig fick synas på bloggen. Sitter och tittar igenom bilder från det senaste halvåret och förundras över hur mycket som hinner hända på sex månader. Allt som allt har jag nog inte befunnit mig på samma ställe mer än två veckor, och mentalt har jag varit i en konstant bergochdalbana av glädje men också framtidsstress, självtvivel och hjärtesorg.
Dessa månader har jag gått omkring och för mitt liv inte kunnat förstå varför jag ofta känt mig så himla utmattad och orkeslös. I efterhand är det nästan komiskt tydligt att det är en helt naturlig följd av det liv jag levt på sistone, att göra roliga saker är inte alls synonymt med att faktiskt vara glad. Och det ÄR faktiskt möjligt att bli utmattad av roliga saker också.
Allt detta har i alla fall mynnat ut i massor av nya insikter och lärdomar, och framtidsplaner. Jag har insett att jag behöver trygghet och sammanhang, och miljöombyte. Från och med nu och fram till jul har jag en lägenhet i Göteborg och har sökt in på Digital Marketing and Sales Analythics på IHM Business school, har ingen aning om jag kommer komma in eller inte (har aldrig varit så nervös över något skol-relaterat förut. Känns läskigt att berätta för er om det redan nu eftersom jag faktiskt inte har någon aning om hur det kommer gå).

Jag känner bara en handfull människor här, hittar inte i staden och saknar fortfarande Berlin hela tiden (okej jag kommer hänga där mycket i jobbet ändå), men det känns samtidigt helt rätt. Det är fint att få göra små utflykter och upptäcka fina nya platser varje dag, lära känna nya människor och bygga sig ett nytt hem här. Fan vad jag fortfarande kastas fram och tillbaka mellan känslor och platser men det känns tryggt att ha götet som bas från och med nu.

Mixed snapshots from Bali that I never posted on the blog. I’m sitting looking through pictures from the past half a year and marvel at how much can happen in six months. All in all, I haven’t been in the same place more than two weeks in a row, and mentally I’ve been in a constant roller coaster of joy but also stress, self-doubt and heartache.
These months I’ve been frustrated and unable to understand why I’ve often felt so very exhausted. In retrospect it’s almost comically clear that that is a natural result of the life I’ve lived lately, doing exciting things are not at all synonymous with actually being happy. And it’s actually possible to get very tired of too many fun activities too.
All this has resulted in lots of new insights and future plans. I’ve realized that I need a context, and a change of scenery. From now until Christmas, I have an apartment in Gothenburg and have applied for an education in Digital Marketing and Sales Analythics at IHM Business School, have no idea if I will get in or not (I’ve never been so nervous about anything school-related before).

I only know a handful of people here, I still don’t know how to get around in the city and still miss Berlin all the time (okay luckily I’mm go there pretty often anyways for work), but it just feels right. It’s great to make small excursions and discover great new places every day, get to know new people and build a new home here. Damn, I’m still tossed back and forth between feelings and places but it feels good to have Gothenburg as a new base from now on.

It’s time for my second post in collaboration with Lacoste fragances! These shots were taken a warm but windy summer afternoon in the centre of Berlin. Walking around in this skirt makes me feel that I’m a part of something bigger- Lacoste is a brand with such an interesting heritage:

I don’t know, I might be silly but I really like to read these kind of brand stories. I think it’s important to always keep the history of things in mind- that’s a good way of keeping your feet on the ground and get perspective of life.
I decided to combine the EAU DE LACOSTE L.12.12 NATURAL perfume with a look in very natural and clean shades. It felt like a good match- grounded and connected both in mind and looks, haha.

Yo! Jag är tillbaka i Göteborg och vädergudarna skämmer bort mig med sol och sommarvärme. Jag älskar att äntligen kunna använda mina shorts och klänningar igen, men ibland är det svårt att göra det utan att se lite för semesterchill ut, om ni fattar vad jag menar. Då gillar jag att addera detaljer som tillexempel denna stiliga klocka som piffar upp känslan lite.

Hey guys! I’m back in Gothenburg and the weather gods are spoiling me with sun sun sun these days. I just love being able to wear short skirts and tank tops again- but sometime it’s hard to make a summer-ish outfit like this not look too down dressed. My best tip for avoiding this is to add a stylish watch! Right now, I’m in love with this one by CLUSE – classy black with gold details. They just launched a new collection of 8 stylish models but this one (it’s called La Bohème) turned out to be my absolute favorite as you can combine it in so many different ways.
The ones of you who are following me on Instagram probably already know that I’m the new ambassador of CLUSE watches, but I want to write it here too. Hurray! Här är ett gäng bilder från i helgen! Tack Luc Belaire för att ni bjöd in mig. Det var sjukt kul att få dansa runt på yran med syrran. Gillar festival-feelingen när festligheterna sträcker sig över flera dagar och inte bara uppstår på klubben på kvällen, det pirrar redan i kroppen när man äter frukost i solen på morgonen och när man går ner på stan på dagen. De andra festivalerna jag har på schemat i sommar är Into The Valley och troligtvis way out west, så det är ett tag kvar emellan. Oh well, man vet aldrig vad som dyker upp!
Nu ska jag packa ihop och lämna Fannys lägenhet för att hinna med flyget till götet. Har så mycket separationsångest samtidigt som det blir skönt att komma tillbaka till stan jag planerar att bostätta mig i, jag har så mycket kvar att upptäcka där.

Here’s a bunch of pictures from the weekend! Thank you Luc Belaire for inviting me. It was incredibly fun to dance around with my sister. I really like the festival-feeling when the festivities extend over several days and not just occur at the club in the evening, when it tingles in your body already when you eat breakfast in the morning sun, and when you walk around in the city during the day. Apart from this festival, I’m planning on going to Into The Valley and Way out west this summer, so there is some time left until the next one now. Oh well, you never know what comes up!
Now I will pack up and leave Fanny’s apartment to catch the flight to gothenburg. I have as much separation anxiety at the same time as it feels good to come back to the city I’m planning on moving to, I have so much left to discover there.

Hej på er! Har ni haft en mysig söndag? Jag har gosat med fanny hela dagen, imorgon ska jag packa ihop och flyga tillbaka till Göteborg, så vill carpa det sista syster-hänget till fullo. Vi hade egentligen tänkt podda men det fanns helt enkelt ingen tid för det, får ta det via skype. Nu ska vi ta en kvällsprommis och kolla film. Puss.
