Hörni. Vi måste prata om jeans. Så länge jag kan minnas har jag varit på jakt efter ett par jeans i min storlek: år ut och år in har jag varit så illa tvungen att jobba “ankelkorta” jeans, vilket egentligen är en stil jag gillar men som också blir rätt tröttsam utan variation. Droppen som fick bägaren att rinna över kom förra veckan när en förbipasserande kvinna ropade “deine Hosen sind zu kurz!” (dina byxor är för korta!) till mig från andra sidan gatan när jag gick omkring i mina &other stories-jeans på bilden ovan, haha. Nu är det hög tid att göra slut på denna långa jakt.
Är det någon som känner igen sig i detta problem? Jag må vara lång, men jag är garanterat inte den enda tjejen i Europa på 180 centimeter och rimligtvis borde det även existera byxor för oss.
Vanligtvis är det ju jag som tipsar er om kläder, men idag vill jag be er om råd: vilka jeans-märken skulle ni rekommendera? Jag behöver en bralla med hög midja, lååånga ben och gärna i styvare/grövre material än de jeanstights-liknande varianterna. Ge mig alla tips ni har!

I’ve been looking for a pair of jeans in my size for as long as I can remember: Year after year I’ve had to go for the “ankle-short” style, which really is a style I like but also gets pretty lame without variation. The drop that caused the cup to flow over came last week when a woman shouted “deine Hosen sind zu kurz!” (your pants are too short!) to me from the other side of the street as I walked around in my & other stories jeans (in the picture above), haha. Now it’s about time to end this long hunt.
I know I’m tall but I’m sure I’m not the only 180 centimeters tall girl in Europe and logically, there should also be a market in making pants for us. Does any of you recognize this problem? What jeans brands would you recommend? I need a high waist, looong legs and preferably a stiffer material than the “second skin”-ones. All suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Hej! Jag är 178cm och använder BikBoks NeverDenim jeans, de går ner hela vägen för mig. Brukar dessutom ta kortaste längden på benen och sedan vika upp för att kunna bära som ankel. Har strl M dock. Lycka till! (Höga i midjan)

I’m “only” 176cm but I found the Weekday-Jeans “Thursday” perfect. Long legs, high waist and also thick fabric (plus; it’s made from eco cotton). Also in their store I recently bought a Cheap Monday jeans which fits very well. The length is only marked with 32 but I found it really long. The only weak point might be that it’s that thick and stiff that it’s really hard to get in after the laundry! 😀
Levi’s mile high super skinny!!!!!! De är vanliga stuprör typ och finns i lite olika material, dvs både väldigt stretchiga tunnare och lite grövre mer klassiskt jeanstyg! Mvh 187 cm hehe
Check out MONKI jeans, they have several high waist styles. My fav is Oki – perfect high waist, really long legs & quite thick fabric. Maybe that’s what you’re looking for? 🙂
Är själv 187cm lång och kan rekommendera ASOS tall och topshop tall, det finns ju inte lika många modeller som de vanliga storlekarna men thank god för byxor/jeans som inte slutar ovanför ankeln för att man inte har något annat val
ebba haru kollat asos tall? de har upp till längd 38 i vissa av sina modeller.
Jag har ett par jeans från Tiger of Sweden som är RIKTIGT långa i benen, dock så är de köpta för något år sedan. Men de kan ju ha någon liknande modell idag! För de är höga i midjan, grövre tyg men fortfarande följsamma och super härliga 🙂

ehmmmmm I have the same PROBLEM!!!! I am 1.80 too, almost everything is short to me. I hate buying trousers, cause I know they won’t fit me. I have to say that the only pair of jeans that looked nice, long and tight (I am thin too) were the “LEE JEANS” But I bought them 15 years ago, and few months ago they broke apart…I will check if lee has a similar line
Asos has a Tall section for jeans…
Cheap Monday works just fine for me, I’m 178 and my legs are very long compared to my body, never had problems with them. Also Zara offers pretty decent options.
