FIVE TATTOO ARTISTS I FOLLOW ON INSTAGRAM (AND U SHOULD TOO)

For having as few and tiny tattoos as I have, I spend an impressive amount of time browsing the web for tattoo inspiration, reading about the studios and tattoo artists. I really love the aesthetics, especially attractively ugly stick n’ pokes. There’s something fascinating in the eternality of tattoos that makes it so much fun to plan and fantasize about.
I’ve been wanting to get a new ink for a long time now (as you know) but if there’s something I have to get better at it’s having some foresight- every time I’ve finally tried to make an appointment somewhere, it has been too late/fully booked. Here are the five tattoo artists/illustrators who feeds my tattoo cravings the most. FOLLOW!

I think Sean From Texas is the artist I’ve been following the longest. There’s something about his dark humor and fascination for space and aliens that just attracts me.

Lottie is an illustration student from bristol. I love both her tattoos, her own looks and her illustrations. She has this super nice self confident yet nonchalant feminist aura.

BitchInk is actually based in my home town, Umeå. Probably the ultimate example of the carefree minimalist stick n poke style that I, together with half of all hipsters in the world, am totally obsessed with.

Ebba showed me MajaLisa Bekken just a couple of days ago, but I instantly fell in love with her work. She’s an artist, illustrator and tattooer from Gothenburg, so she’s actually probably the one I’ll contact for my next tattoo (I mean, it’s more probably gonna happen here than if I contact Sean From Texas).

But if it’s not Majalisa, it’s definitely Daisy who’ll get to make my next tattoo. She’s based in Berlin so that’s almost as good as Gothenburg location-wise. I love her clean cartoonish style.
