3 THINGS TODAY

1. Stumbled across this outfit online and want to copy straight off. After some searching, i found these similar pants, and now I’m thinking about ordering them.

2. Det ösregnar ute. Alltså ver-kli-gen ösregnar. När jag sitter här på kontoret och jobbar låter det som att världen utanför förvandlats till en stor dusch. Jag känner mig lugnare än på länge, jag kan sitta här och sippa på mitt kaffe, jobba i lugn och ro utan att känna en endaste liten tillstymmelse till skuld över att jag inte är utomhus och tar tillvara på det fina vädret. Visste ni förresten att ordet Petrichor betyder “lukten av jord efter regn”? Fint va.

2. The rain is pouring down outside. When I’m sitting here at the office it sounds like the outside world has turned into one big shower. I feel calmer than I’ve done for a long while, I can sit here and sip my coffee, work calmly without feeling the tiniest bit of bad conscience that I’m not outdoors taking advantage of the nice weather. Did you know that the word “Petrichor” means “the smell of the wet ground after rain”? What a nice word.

3. Jag vill ge er alla i hemläxa att se den nya netflix-filmen Okja tills nästa vecka. Okej? Då kan vi alla samlas och ha en liten diskussion efteråt. Såg den igår och blev rätt splittrad, en blandning av det vackra bildspråket och en fråga som alltid legat mig varmt om hjärtat gjorde verkligen att det surrade till i huvudet. Jag ska inte spoila nu, men vill gärna höra vad ni tyckte efteråt.

3. I want to give all of you an assignment: watch the new Netflix movie Okja until next week. Okay? Then we can all get together and have a little discussion afterwards. I watched it yesterday and got both moved and a bit disturbed, the mix of the beautiful imagery and a topic that I’ve always held close to my heart really made the movie experience intense. I won’t spoil anything now, but I’d like to hear what you thought about it afterwards.
