24 HOURS IN PARIS

Hej bejbs! Jag är tillbaka på kontoret i Berlin efter ett hektiskt, spännande och intressant dygn i Paris med Lacoste Parfums! Låt mig visa vad vi gjorde:

Hi babes! I’m back in the Cover pr office in Berlin after 24 hectic but beautiful hours in Paris with Lacoste Parfums! Let me show you what we did:

Jag landade tisdag förmiddag och checkade in på Nolinski hotel, som visade sig vara ett riktigt bra hotell. Full pott på alla fronter- trevlig personal, bra läge, jättefina rum och alla tänkbara användbara kvalitéer såsom högtalare på rummet (älskar hotell som har det), en gratis låne-smartphone med 4G, spa- och fitnessavdelning och snabbt wi-fi. Fett rekommenderat till alla som åker till paris och har lite budget för boende.

I landed Tuesday morning and checked in at Nolinski hotel, which proved to be an amazing hotel. It had everything I usually wish for when staying at hotels: friendly staff, great location, beautiful rooms and all possible useful qualities like speakers (love hotels that have speakers in the room), a free 4G smartphone to borrow, spa and fitness area and fast wi-fi. I’d really recommend it to anyone who’s going to Paris and have some budget to spend on a nice accommodation.

Aaanyhow, efter en superb lunch tog Lacoste-teamet med oss till Parfym-museet. Vi fick lära oss massor om olika doft-noter och parfym-historia (visste ni att parfym funnits i fyra tusen år?! Alltså dubbelt så länge som kristendomen, till exempel). En parfymör presenterade och “plockade isär” en ny Lacosteparfym, Lacoste Pour Femme Eau de Parfum Légère, och lät oss lukta på var ock en av de olika dofterna för sig för att vi skulle förstå sammansättningen. Fick verkligen respekt för alla som jobbar med parfym, det är mer komplext än man kan ana.

Aaanyhow, after a superb lunch, the Lacoste team took us to the Perfume Museum. We learned a lot about different fragrance notes and perfume history (did you know that perfume has existed for four thousand years?! For example twice as long as Christianity, in other words). A perfume maker presented and “dessicated” a new Lacoste perfume, Lacoste Pour Femme Eau de Parfum Légère, and let us smell each of the different scents individually to understand the composition of the fragrance. Parfumes are really more complex than I could have imagined.

Efter detta ägnade jag den lilla “fritiden” vi hade åt att förbereda plåtningen dagen därpå. Gjorde ett besök i Lacoste-butiken vid triumfbågen och plockade lite, preppade lite styling och sånt innan vi spenderade dygnets sista timmar med champagne och trerätters med ett Eiffeltorn i skymningsljus som utsikt. Legendariskt.

After that, I spent the “free time” we had with preparing the shoot the next day. Made a visit to the Lacoste shop by Champs-Élysées and picked out some pieces, prepped a little styling and so on before spending the last hours of the day with champagne and three-course with the Eiffel Tower in dusk as a view with the team. Legendary.

Dagen därpå var jag uppe med tuppen för hår, make och styling. Tryckte croissanter och espressos för att kicka igång kroppen. Sedan åkte vi till Montmartre för att ta de första bilderna, fotograf var Juliette (på bilden ovan) och Fanny från Eyecandy Berlin. De med gott minne vet hur mycket jag tycker om dessa tjejer och vad de gör, vi har jobbat tillsammans tidigare (till exempel med denna, denna och denna plåtning) och resultatet har alltid blivit spot on. När vi träffades första gången hade de precis börjat, och nu har de en enorm egen studio i centrala Berlin och stora uppdrag så det räcker och blir över. Så impad :’)

The next day I was up really early for hair, make and styling. Had croissants and espressos to awaken my body. Then we went to Montmartre to take the first set of pictures. The photographers was Juliette (pictured above haha) and Fanny from Eyecandy Berlin. Those with good memory knows how much I like these girls and what they do, we’ve been working together a bunch of times earlier (for example with this, this and this shoot) and the results has always been spot on. When we first met, they had just begun working with Eyecandy, and now they have a huge studio in central Berlin and big assignments all the time. So impressed : ‘)

Vi plåtade alltså streetstyle-bilder för den nya Lacoste-doften, Lacoste Pour Femme Eau de Parfum Légère. Montmartre var sinnessjukt fint! Även fast jag hunnit besöka paris fyra gånger nu var detta första gången jag fått tillfälle att ta mig dit. Precis så romantique som man kunnat tro.

The shoot was all about the new Lacoste fragrance, Lacoste Pour Femme Eau de Parfum Légère.Montmartre was insanely pretty! Even though I’ve visited Paris four times now, this was the first time I had the opportunity to go there. Just as romantic as one could imagine.

Lunchpaus! Vi åt på LouLou i parken precis vid Louvren. Helt magiskt gott. Efter detta klarade vi av ännu en plåtning i centrala paris…

Lunch break! We had a delicious lunch at LouLou close to Louvren. After that we shot the next set of pictures in central Paris before….

… innan jag kramade Fanny (på bilden ovan) och resten av gänget hejdå för denna gång för att flyga hem till Berlin och kramas med en annan person.

…. we could call it a wrap and I hugged Fanny (in the pic above) and the rest of the team goodbye to fly home to Berlin and hug another person again.
